The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stuff looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Short Stuff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Stuff, as that shot connected.

It looks like Antti Kristian Saatanainen has been cut.
Stuff fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Saatanainen manages to avoid it.
Stuff displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Saatanainen throws out the jab.

Saatanainen shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Stuff manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Stuff feints and then cracks Saatanainen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Saatanainen down.
Saatanainen is breathing heavily.
A slapping leg kick lands for Stuff.
Stuff has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Stuff fails with an attempt to clinch.
Stuff throws a head kick but Saatanainen moves out of range.
Short Stuff is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Stuff cracks the inside of Saatanainen's front leg.
Stuff darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
A nice leg kick lands there from Stuff.

A head kick lands from Stuff that sends Saatanainen to the canvas. Saatanainen tries to scramble back to his feet but Stuff brings him back down into side control.

Stuff's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stuff wants to lay and pray for a moment but Saatanainen keeps working.

Stuff is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Saatanainen is looking to reverse the position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Saatanainen tries to lock up and control but Stuff gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Stuff has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Saatanainen's face.
