Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Izudin Han (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Toffer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Toffer's choice of entrance music: Pain and Pleasure by Bullet For My Valentine. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Izudin Han!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of New York, Ryan Toffer!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Jorge Garcia and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Han closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Toffer trying to hold on to Han's head to control him but Han postures up.
Han is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Toffer is trying to control but can't.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Han is trying hard to land a takedown here. Toffer sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Han shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Toffer pinned against the cage. Toffer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Han shoots for a double leg takedown but Toffer sprawls well. He's pushed Han's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Izudin Han. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Han dives in for a single leg takedown but Toffer sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Han gets control of Toffer's arms and successfully pulls guard. Han will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Toffer controls Han momentarily but Han frees himself.

and Toffer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Han shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Toffer sprawls well. Toffer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Han gets slowly back to his feet.
Han shoots in for a double leg but Toffer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Izudin Han. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Han closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Toffer quickly recovers to half guard.

Han throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Toffer's waist but Toffer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Han off to one side.

Toffer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Han sprawls well. Han wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Toffer gets slowly back to his feet.
Han leaves Toffer with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Han on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Han dives in for a single leg takedown but Toffer sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Toffer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Han throws out a leg kick but Toffer moves out of range and Han only half commits.

Toffer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Han's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Toffer works his foot free and advances to mount.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ryan Toffer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Toffer throws a couple of heel strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Toffer lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Han!

Izudin Han has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Ryan Toffer is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

I would just about give that final round to Ryan Toffer.
Well Toffer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
