Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simmons has managed to clinch.
Simmons's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Rockford dodges the punch combination from Simmons.
Nice sprawl there from Rockford as Simmons shoots in.
Simmons shoots in for a takedown but Rockford shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Rockford manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Simmons on his heels. He'll look to pass Simmons's guard now, I'm sure.

It looks like Dino Simmons has been cut.

Simmons could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Simmons is breathing heavily.

Rockford loads up on a big left hand. Simmons felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Rockford looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Simmons can't hide his disappointment, as Rockford celebrates the victory.
