Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Blagojevic Batakovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Briggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Sandra Marshall and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Briggs closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Batakovic's guard.
Briggs passes Batakovic's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Briggs thows a huge punch but Batakovic dodges it nicely.
Batakovic has hold of Briggs's hands but Briggs slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Briggs lands with a punch from half guard.
Briggs looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Briggs thows a huge punch but Batakovic dodges it nicely.
Briggs content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Batakovic is in trouble now - Briggs has advanced to mount!
Briggs scoring with strikes but Batakovic is staying in there.
Batakovic has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Briggs postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Batakovic looks a forlorn figure.

Batakovic is bucking up trying to escape but Briggs cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Briggs! Batakovic is hurt baaadly! Briggs is firing away with more strikes - Batakovic is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
