The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson swinging wildly here.
Anderson lands a nice looking body shot.
Anderson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sarmiento. Sarmiento circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Anderson lands a left and a right that send Sarmiento crashing to the mat, dazed. Anderson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Sarmiento clinches up with Anderson and pushes him back against the cage.
Sarmiento lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Anderson backwards.
Sarmiento misses with a short punch on the inside.
Anderson blocks an uppercut.
Sarmiento tries to pull guard but Anderson won't allow it.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Anderson.
Sarmiento lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Sarmiento swings wildly with an uppercut but Anderson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sarmiento lands an uppercut.
Anderson tries to throw a body punch but Sarmiento avoids it by throwing Anderson back against the cage.

Sarmiento breaks from the clinch.
Sarmiento fails to land with a series of punches.
Anderson dips to his left and cracks Sarmiento with an uppercut!

Sarmiento is rocked!
Anderson closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Sarmiento out cold! Sarmiento corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

Kevin Anderson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
