Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roller Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abro Brodan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie's entrance music is Yes. A fine choice. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie fails with the takedown.

Brodan looks to land a left hand but Gracie moved out of range nicely.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Brodan is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Gracie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Brodan manages to get himself to full guard.
Gracie is pushing down on Brodan's leg trying to pass to half guard. Brodan is fighting to maintain full guard but Gracie has managed to sneak the leg through.
Gracie frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Gracie is looking for a kimura but Brodan is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gracie to get the leverage.
