Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Provocative Clothes!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clothes rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Machida counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Clothes, right into the meat.
Clothes darts in looking for a takedown but Machida gets double underhooks and turns Clothes into the cage.
Machida scores with a hook to the body.
Clothes is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Machida to keep the fight standing.
Machida blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Machida definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Machida wants to break the clinch but can't.
A frustrated look appears on Machida's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Clothes fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Lyoto Machida has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Provocative Clothes.
Clothes keeps control of Machida as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Machida has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Machida is trying to break the clinch but Clothes has him pressed against the cage.

Machida escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Machida takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Clothes throws a leg kick which misses Machida's front leg but catches the back leg as Machida tries to avoid it.

Machida tries to sprawl but Clothes drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Clothes wants to stand up but Machida has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Clothes in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Machida tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Clothes!
