Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Winston Alpacca and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Fox or perhaps it was just good defense by Penn which made him look bad.
Penn slips a jab and a cross from Fox.
Fox shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Penn as he jumps to the side.

Fox scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Still in half guard, Fox seems content to control.

Fox is nestled in close to Penn, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Penn pushes Fox off looking to stand but Fox dives back in and keeps control.

Fox looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Penn with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Fox lands a couple of good shots and Penn has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Fox connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Penn to escape the position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fox is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Penn up.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's time! Back to the action!



Fox closes the distance looking for a takedown. Penn stuffs it but Fox still has hold of him. Fox picks Penn up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Fox slams Penn to the floor and that's really hurt Penn - he doesn't know where he is! Fox throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Steve Fox!
