Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gilbert Melendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Lincoln (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Melendez's entrance music is Eminem - Survival. A fine choice. Lincoln has chosen Mottaka by Queso as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Lincoln will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Melendez has Lincoln pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Melendez pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Lincoln tumbling to the mat - Melendez dives into Lincoln's guard.
Melendez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lincoln swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lincoln wants to get back to his feet but Melendez is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
