Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timi Kahuna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caesar Black Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black Jr looks to land a combination but Kahuna avoids it well.

Kahuna definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Kahuna fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Black Jr avoids it really well and circles away.

Kahuna tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Black Jr swivels and escapes.

Black Jr manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Black Jr throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Black Jr.
Black Jr throws a right hand that Kahuna ducks under and follows up with a left that Kahuna also avoids with ease.

Kahuna stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Black Jr swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Black Jr is looking to stand back up but Kahuna counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Black Jr.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Black Jr has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Kahuna is on him like a limpet, forcing Black Jr back against the cage.
Black Jr should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Caesar Black Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black Jr fails to land with a series of punches.
Black Jr rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kahuna moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Black Jr throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Black Jr feints a jab promting Kahuna to slip. Black Jr then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kahuna slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Kahuna shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Black Jr is trying to defend but Kahuna finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kahuna wants the takedown. Black Jr is fighting it off but Kahuna persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Black Jr's guard against the cage.
