The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kolgoz shoots in looking for a takedown. Sukayev tries to sprawl out of it but Kolgoz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sukayev manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Haleb Sukayev has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Kolgoz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sukayev manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Kolgoz is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Sukayev asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sukayev is taking a breather. Kolgoz says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Sukayev postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kolgoz is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Sukayev, into his guard.

Kolgoz stands and steps away. Sukayev gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kolgoz postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Sukayev looks a forlorn figure.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Kolgoz changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sukayev looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
