Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryan Wagner!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 9 - 2, fighting out of London, Yamamoto Takiyama!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wagner throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Wagner swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wagner turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Wagner lands with a thumping leg kick.
Takiyama takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Takiyama tries to clinch up
and Wagner counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wagner throws a lazy right hand but Takiyama sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Wagner lands with a straight right. Takiyama didn't see that one coming.
It looks like Yamamoto Takiyama has been cut.
Wagner scores with a crisp jab that stopped Takiyama in his tracks.
Wagner fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Takiyama fails with a takedown attempt.
Wagner connects with a leg kick. Takiyama looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Takiyama ducks under a wild hook from Wagner.
Takiyama looks to clinch
and Wagner cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Takiyama is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Ryan Wagner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wagner looks to land a right hand but Takiyama moved out of range.

Wagner throws the kick towards the body but Takiyama avoids it.
Takiyama moves to clinch but Wagner breaks away
and Wagner counters with a nice right hand that sends Takiyama toppling to the canvas! Takiyama scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Wagner finish him?!
Takiyama get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Takiyama stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Wagner runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
