Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mingo Deems (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wee Ning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Mingo Deems has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Deems finds it's way through Ning's defenses.
Ning checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Deems manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ning on his heels. He'll look to pass Ning's guard now, I'm sure.
Ning wants to sweep here but Deems controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ning is on top in guard.
Deems keeping full guard, as Ning tries to pass.
Deems keeping moving, preventing Ning from controlling successfully.

Ning creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Deems sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Ning working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Deems wants to stand and escape but Ning is having none of it.

Deems shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Deems was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Ning has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Deems can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Ning working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Deems doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Deems manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Deems takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Ning is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Deems has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Deems!
Wee Ning has got the better of the ground game so far.
Ning has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Deems has passed into side control.

Deems has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Deems throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Ning shoots in for a takedown but Deems shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Ning takes one on the button.
Deems paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Good leg kick by Deems there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Deems lands with a thumping leg kick.
Ning is breathing heavily.

Deems drops Ning with a left and a right! Oh, Ning is hurt - Deems dives into side control looking to finish!

Ning is rocked!
Deems wants to stand but Ning has his arm trapped.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mingo Deems dominated that second round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Deems closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Ning is still in real trouble! Can Deems finish him?
The fighters are battling for position here. Ning manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Ning seems to have recovered his senses.
Ning is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Deems looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Deems tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ning was well out of range. Poor timing from Deems.
Deems cracks the inside of Ning's front leg.
Ning avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Deems fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ning.

Deems is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

During a confident post fight interview, Mingo Deems thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
