The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buford looks to land a combination but Rey avoids it well.
Buford motions for Rey to come forward. Buford throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Buford misses with a two punch combination.
Buford misses with a double jab
and Rey counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rey.
Rey postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Rey passes Buford's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Rey takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Rey scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rey not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Buford scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Rey manages to mount him!
Buford bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Buford content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Buford drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Buford seems to have locked his on tight now - Rey screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Buford, as he picks up the win!

Brooks Buford made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'cudnt have done this with out my camp at dudes gym those guys rock'.
