Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Morgan Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken McCorronas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ken McCorronas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McCorronas bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
McCorronas looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Freeman tries to get back to half guard but can't.
McCorronas working away.
Freeman manages to get back to half guard.
Freeman moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Freeman pulls McCorronas in close to prevent any damage.
McCorronas must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
McCorronas tries to free his leg and advance position but Freeman is retaining full guard.
McCorronas trying to control the position from guard on top but Freeman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Freeman gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows McCorronas to score an easy takedown into full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Freeman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in McCorronas's guard.

Freeman drops back looking for a leg! McCorronas is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McCorronas manages to kick Freeman off! Freeman jumps back into McCorronas's guard.

Freeman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Freeman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Freeman is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Freeman slips nicely into half guard.

Freeman is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! McCorronas is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
