Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Angel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Mercurius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mercurius has chosen 2pac - Raise Up as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angel tried to score with a low kick but Mercurius checks it.
Angel blocks a low kick nicely.
Angel wants to clinch.
Mercurius throws a leg kick but Angel sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Mercurius swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Angel walks into a stiff left hand from Mercurius.
Mercurius throws a leg kick which misses Angel's front leg but catches the back leg as Angel tries to avoid it.
Angel fails with a takedown attempt.
Angel thows a left - swing and a miss!
Mercurius misses the shot to the body.

Mercurius lands a nice looking body shot.
Angel stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mercurius.
Good leg kick by Mercurius there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Mercurius lands a really nice looking cross but Angel seems unphased.
Mercurius looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Mercurius just misses with a punch to the body.
Angel throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mercurius on the side of the head.

and Mercurius counters with a good low kick that Angel was not able to check.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Angel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Angel slips a straight right by Mercurius.
Angel looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Mercurius steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Angel.
Mercurius misses with a leg kick.
Angel takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Angel fails to land with a series of punches.
Angel throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Mercurius to counter with a crisp jab.
Mercurius loads up on a big right hand but Angel slips the punch.
Angel misses with a left hand
and Mercurius counters with a good low kick that Angel was not able to check.
Mercurius lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Angel. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Angel misses with a takedown
and Mercurius cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Rocky Mercurius is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Mercurius misses the jab.
Angel has his takedown stuffed
and Mercurius counters with a leg kick.
Angel shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mercurius as he jumps to the side.
Angel tries for a takedown but Mercurius circles away easily
and Mercurius counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
An inside leg kick lands from Mercurius.
Angel tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mercurius sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Angel somewhat.
Mercurius fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Angel has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Angel is breathing heavily.

Mercurius scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Mercurius throws a low kick but Angel avoids it.
Mercurius throws a head kick but Angel moves out of range.
Angel throws a left and a right that both miss
and Mercurius counters with a thumping low kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mercurius chopping away at his opponent's legs.
An inside leg kick lands from Mercurius.
Mercurius misses with a low kick.
Angel walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Angel is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Mercurius throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mercurius shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Mercurius pivots, looking for a leg kick but Angel is out of range and Mercurius settles back down.
That's five minutes gone in the round.
Angel fails with the takedown
and Mercurius counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Mercurius stuffs the takedown.
Mercurius throws a solid leg kick but Angel takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Mercurius.
Mercurius fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Angel checks it well.
Mercurius connects with a crisp jab.
Angel misses with a two punch combination.
Angel closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Mercurius tries to buck Angel off but Angel is having none of it.
Mercurius gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Mercurius wants to get back to full guard.
That's six minutes gone in the round.
Mercurius looks like he's trying to stand up.
Angel stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Angel moves out of range of the strikes.
Mercurius wants to slow Angel down by chopping away at his legs.
Mercurius scores with a head kick. Angel tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Angel looks to land a combination but Mercurius avoids it well.
Angel tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Mercurius leaves Angel with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Angel swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Mercurius to counter with a crisp jab.

Angel takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Mercurius swats away the attempt to clinch by Angel.
Mercurius swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mercurius displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Angel.
Mercurius throws a body kick that misses.
Mercurius throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
A solid leg kick lands there for Mercurius.
Mercurius dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Angel. That did some damage!
Mercurius is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Angel had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
The fighters circle momentarily. Mercurius darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Mercurius bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Angel's head.
Angel throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mercurius.

Mercurius tries to bum rush Angel with a series of wild strikes but Angel uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mercurius moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Mercurius throws a leg kick which misses Angel's front leg but catches the back leg as Angel tries to avoid it.
That's nine minutes gone in the round.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mercurius lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Angel has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Angel and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Mercurius throws a leg kick which misses Angel's front leg but catches the back leg as Angel tries to avoid it.
Mercurius throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mercurius throws a jab when Angel was well out of range.
Angel tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mercurius swivels and escapes.
Angel checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Mercurius tries to bum rush Angel with a series of wild strikes but Angel uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Angel punishes Mercurius's body with a nice straight punch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mercurius misses with a low kick.
Mercurius rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Angel moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Angel tries for a takedown but Mercurius sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
And that's the end of the fight!
Rocky Mercurius comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Mercurius has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
