Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Adam Giles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Crichton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giles dives in and grabs Crichton's left leg, looking for a takedown. Crichton pushes down on Giles's head and hops out.
Crichton shoots in looking for a takedown but Giles manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Crichton's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Crichton closes the distance and clinches up with Giles, looking for a takedown. Crichton pushes Giles against the cage but Giles circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Giles might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Giles seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Crichton wants to stand but Giles is controlling the position.
Crichton is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Crichton throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Crichton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Giles's waist but Giles gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Crichton off to one side.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Adam Giles.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Giles, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
