Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Walter Schwengel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malygos Northrend (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Northrend has chosen Sure shot as his entrance music. Malygos Northrend is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Malygos Northrend!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Northrend shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Northrend looking to pass the guard.
Northrend prevents Schwengel from getting back to his feet.
Schwengel is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Northrend presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Schwengel.
Schwengel misses with the head strike.
Schwengel is struggling to control the position.
Northrend has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Schwengel avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Schwengel tries to throw a body punch but Northrend avoids it by throwing Schwengel back against the cage.

Northrend is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Schwengel is defending well.

Schwengel works on Northrend's body with a couple of short punches.

Walter Schwengel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Malygos Northrend.
Northrend drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Schwengel gets underhooks to prevent Northrend's takedown attempt.

Schwengel gets control of Northrend's arms and successfully pulls guard. Schwengel will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Schwengel is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Northrend is controlling him.
Schwengel is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Schwengel just leaning against Northrend, taking a breather.

Northrend takes a shot to the head.
Schwengel goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Schwengel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Northrend crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Schwengel - the referee stops the clock and Northrend gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Schwengel. Northrend manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Northrend doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Schwengel counters with a stiff right hand.
Schwengel scores with a spinning back kick!
Schwengel lands an uppercut, right on the button! Northrend tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Walter Schwengel!
