Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Efren Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikola Rodic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nikola Rodic has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Efren Charles's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Efren Charles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nikola Rodic!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charles shoots in but no luck this time.
Charles closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rodic circles away.
Charles really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Charles swats away the attempt to clinch by Rodic.

Charles stalks Rodic and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rodic's face. Rodic staggers backwards, shaken.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Rodic swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Charles scores with a jab to the jaw.
Charles dives in and grabs Rodic's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rodic pushes down on Charles's head and hops out.
Charles fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Charles gets caught flat footed, as Rodic shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Charles has his foot on Rodic's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rodic works his way back into a safe position though.

Rodic has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Charles is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Charles lands a left hand that snaps the head of Rodic backwards.
Rodic is looking to break free of the clinch but Charles has double underhooks.

Charles jumps into guard, dragging Rodic to the mat.
Charles looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Efren Charles overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Rodic is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Charles manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Efren Charles.
Well Charles has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
