Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Enrique Huerta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kendrick Bowens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kendrick Bowens is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Enrique Huerta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kendrick Bowens!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowens lands with a nice combination. Huerta backs away looking to recover.
Bowens scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Bowens shoots in and gets a takedown into Huerta's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Huerta has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bowens is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Huerta.
Bowens has hold of Huerta's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Huerta tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Bowens cranks the arm and Huerta screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Huerta, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Kendrick Bowens!
