The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rocha feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ham is on top in guard.

Rocha escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ham gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Ham goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Rocha rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Ham's guard! Nice work there by Rocha!

Rocha working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ham doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ham manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Ham maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Rocha could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Ham has cracked it and Rocha is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Ham!
