Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cliff Stanton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gfd Dfgs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Cliff Stanton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Gfd Dfgs!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dfgs scores with a takedown into Stanton's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Dfgs stands and steps away. Stanton gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Dfgs gets a clinch.
Stanton tries to score a body lock takedown but Dfgs shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Stanton successfully pulls guard.
Dfgs with a flurry of punches that miss.
Dfgs tries to stand but Stanton is controlling from the bottom.
Dfgs stopping the sweep attempt from Stanton.
Dfgs content to stall in guard here.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Dfgs pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stanton is keeping the position for now.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Gfd Dfgs hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Dfgs moves into range and clinches up with Stanton.
Dfgs pushes Stanton back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Dfgs stops a takedown attempt from Stanton.

Dfgs has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Stanton is trying to keep an underhook but Dfgs manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Stanton makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Stanton.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dfgs showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Dfgs tries to free his leg and advance position but Stanton is retaining full guard.
Stanton looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dfgs not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Gfd Dfgs has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Stanton misses with a combination
and Dfgs counters with a series of strikes. Stanton will be more careful next time no doubt.

Dfgs dives in and scores a takedown into Stanton's guard.
Dfgs trying to control but Stanton is working from the bottom.
Dfgs sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Stanton's guard.
Stanton wants to get back to full guard.

Dfgs is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Stanton sees it coming and defends easily.

Dfgs is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Dfgs is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Stanton strikes from the bottom but Dfgs passes into mount!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dfgs looking to control and managing it successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dfgs tries to close the distance and clinch but Stanton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Dfgs shoots in and bounces Stanton off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Stanton manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Stanton get's back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dfgs lands a right hook to the body.

Dfgs fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Stanton to the ground. Dfgs is now in Stanton's guard.

Dfgs has gone for a leg lock! Stanton slips out almost immediately though and dives into Dfgs's guard.

Dfgs looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Stanton stopping the sweep attempt from Dfgs.
Stanton has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dfgs is proving hard to escape from.

Stanton stands up and waves to Dfgs to follow him.

Stanton is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Stanton tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Dfgs drives through with a takedown into Stanton's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Stanton looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dfgs is one step ahead there.

Dfgs wants to control from the top but Stanton keeps moving.
Stanton looking for a sweep. Not yet Stanton, not yet.
Dfgs won't allow Stanton to get back to his feet.
Dfgs throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Dfgs throws a big right hand that misses.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Dfgs drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Stanton manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dfgs has Stanton in his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gfd Dfgs showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Dfgs avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Stanton swats away the attempt to clinch by Dfgs.
Dfgs throws a head kick but Stanton moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stanton gets caught napping as Dfgs dives in and scores a takedown. Stanton manages to retain guard.
Dfgs is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Stanton not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Stanton preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Dfgs looking to pass the guard.
Dfgs's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Gfd Dfgs has got the better of the ground game so far.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Cliff Stanton.
Dfgs misses with the combination.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Dfgs.
Stanton tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Dfgs easily slips into full mount!
Stanton sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Stanton is trying to maintain the position but Dfgs is very close to passing his half guard.

Stanton wants to improve his position but Dfgs is controlling well.
Dfgs looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Stanton is looking to get back to full guard here but Dfgs has managed to pass to side control instead.

Dfgs wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Stanton, who protects the arm well.
Stanton is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Stanton tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Dfgs presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

And that's the end of the fight!
Gfd Dfgs comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Dfgs has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
