Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustavo Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gustavo Santos looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Santos looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

and Santos makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Silva really felt that one!

Santos shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Silva sprawls well. Silva wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Santos gets slowly back to his feet.
Silva pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Silva throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Santos was covering up waiting for the punch and Silva finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Silva slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Silva is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Santos's shoulder. That is not cool.
Silva tries to advance to mount but Santos denies him.

Silva wants to lay and pray for a moment but Santos keeps working.
Silva content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Silva is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Santos will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
