The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chantry shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kirbs defends it nicely.
Chantry fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

We've been hearing reports that Chantry has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Chantry throws out a loose jab but Kirbs uses good head movement to avoid it.
Chantry darts in looking for a takedown but Kirbs gets double underhooks and turns Chantry into the cage.

Chantry has Kirbs pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kirbs manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Chantry tries to score a body lock takedown but Kirbs shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Kirbs is pressed up against the cage. Chantry has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kirbs down to the mat. Kirbs avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Kirbs connects with a right hand. Chantry shakes it off.

Kirbs thuds his right hand into Chantry's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Kirbs lands with an uppercut that bounces Chantry off the cage and back into range.
Trent Quo Titan Kirbs is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Chantry shoots in and drives through. Kirbs sprawls well.
Kirbs keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Chantry shoots for a double leg takedown but Kirbs sprawls well. He's pushed Chantry's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
