Leduc comes to the cage accompanied by Lose yourself. Sandford has chosen Two steps from hell-Heart of courage as his entrance music. Joe Leduc is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Leduc!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Sandford!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Sandford coming out on top.
Leduc loads up on a big right hand but Sandford slips the punch.
Leduc just misses with a punch to the body.
Sandford scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Nice uppercut there from Sandford.
Sandford connects with a body shot that sends Leduc's belly button to the back.
Sandford scores with a shot to the body.
Sandford throws a lazy right hand but Leduc sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Leduc throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
The fighters circle momentarily. Sandford darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Sandford darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Sandford throws a jab but it's blocked by Leduc.
Leduc shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sandford pinned against the cage. Sandford gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sandford lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Sandford misses the shot to the body.

Leduc fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sandford looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Leduc misses with a left hand
and Sandford counters with a series of strikes. Leduc will be more careful next time no doubt.
Leduc throws the left hand but Sandford avoids the punch easily.
Sandford scores with a three punch combo!
Leduc avoids the body shot from Sandford.
Sandford swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sandford takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Leduc goes for a double leg but Sandford avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Sandford continues to drive forward.
Leduc is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Sandford blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Leduc is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Sandford is defending well.
Leduc lands a left hand that snaps the head of Sandford backwards.
Leduc is looking to take this one to the mat.

James Sandford is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Leduc shoots in but no luck this time.
Sandford changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Sandford scores with a nice right hand.
Sandford lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Leduc jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Leduc dodges the punch combination from Sandford.
Sandford throws a combination. Leduc tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Sandford lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Sandford stalks Leduc and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Leduc's face. Leduc staggers backwards, shaken.

Sandford misses with the combination.
Sandford avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Leduc slips under a jab from Sandford.
Sandford lands a jab.
Sandford lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Sandford.
Sandford misses the jab.
Leduc closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Leduc drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Sandford working a defensive guard here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Leduc with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Leduc looking to pass the guard.
Leduc wants to control from the top but Sandford keeps moving.
Our spies down at at Boomerang!! inform us that Sandford has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Sandford looking to control.
Leduc knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sandford on the ground.
Sandford is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Sandford moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Leduc is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Leduc ducks under a wild hook from Sandford.
Sandford is working the combinations to good effect here.
Leduc tries for a takedown but Sandford sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

James Sandford dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


A punch lands to the side of Leduc 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Some wild striking there from Sandford.
Sandford falls off balance throwing a combination

and Leduc counters with a single leg into guard. Sandford didn't expect that.

Sandford looking to control.
Leduc chips away with some ground and pound.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Leduc working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Sandford's head.
Sandford is trying to control the position but Leduc postures up.
Sandford working a defensive guard but Leduc manages to pass into side control anyway.
Sandford tries to bench press Leduc off him but Leduc keeps the position.
Sandford on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
The strikes coming from Leduc are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Sandford wants to control but Leduc postures up.
Joe Leduc overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Sandford tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Sandford takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Sandford is looking for a sweep.
Leduc scores with a couple of short elbows.


Sandford is rocked!
Leduc controls the position from side control.
Leduc scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Sandford is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Leduc can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Leduc!
