Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marcel Cerdan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshiteru Goto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cerdan comes to the cage accompanied by French National Anthem. The crowd seem to be enjoying Goto's choice of entrance music: Japanese Boy. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Goto has taken the fight to the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Cerdan.
Goto looking to stall.
Goto lands a left hand.
Goto keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Cerdan's efforts to push away.

Cerdan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Goto throws a leg kick that misses.
Goto slips under a jab from Cerdan.
Goto connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Cerdan jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Cerdan misses with an uppercut

and Goto counters by clinching up.
Goto tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Cerdan is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Goto lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Cerdan backwards.

Cerdan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cerdan misses with a straight right.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Goto jabs Cerdan right on the nose. Cerdan blinks but takes it well.
Cerdan thows a left - swing and a miss!
Cerdan uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Goto.

Goto throws a right and a left that both miss.
Goto is looking to score with low kicks.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cerdan. Goto does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nice body kick from Goto.
Goto defending well as Cerdan loads up on a big left hand.
Goto lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Goto throws a head kick but Cerdan moves out of range.
Cerdan throws a quick inside leg kick.
Cerdan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Cerdan takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Cerdan avoids the head kick by Goto.
Cerdan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Goto was well out of range. Poor timing from Cerdan.
Goto turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Goto throws a push kick but Cerdan slaps the foot to one side.
Cerdan misses with an uppercut. Goto saw that one coming.
Goto fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Cerdan has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Cerdan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Cerdan blocks a jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cerdan throws a series of punches but Goto moves out of range.
Cerdan throws out a loose jab but Goto uses good head movement to avoid it.
Goto throws a big shot that misses.
Goto is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Goto takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Both fighters circling a little - Goto finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Cerdan throws a hook to the side of Goto's head but Goto sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Cerdan connects with a nice looking jab.
Goto throws a low kick but Cerdan moves out of range easily.
Goto tries a low kick but Cerdan avoids it.
Marcel Cerdan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Goto throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cerdan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Goto's head backwards.
Cerdan swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Some wild striking there from Cerdan.
Goto feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Cerdans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
A punch combination from Cerdan misses.
Cerdan is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Goto cracks Cerdan with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Cerdan throws a leg kick that is checked
and Goto counters with a good, hard body kick but Cerdan shrugs it off.
Goto sizes up Cerdan with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Cerdan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Goto was well out of range. Poor timing from Cerdan.
Oh Cerdan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cerdan throws a big shot that misses.
Goto cracks the inside of Cerdan's front leg.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Goto throws an overhand right that drops Cerdan like a sack of potatoes! Goto dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
