Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daren Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Hellwig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Hellwig's choice of entrance music: Warrior. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hellwig scores with a jab to the head.
Hellwig lands with a shot to the body.
Hellwig misses with a body shot.
Hellwig closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Lopez is looking to improve his position.
Lopez looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Lopez is trying to control but can't.
Lopez wants to improve his position but Hellwig is controlling well.
Hellwig wants to stand up but Lopez has a hold of him and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hellwig decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Hellwig comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hellwig tries to clinch up
and Lopez counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Lopez.
Lopez tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hellwig just stands there and leans against the cage.
Lopez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hellwig throws out a loose jab but Lopez uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hellwig shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lopez manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Lopez has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Hellwig doesn't defend quickly enough and Lopez has managed to lock this one up! Can Hellwig escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Lopez on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Daren Lopez!
