Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown fails with the takedown
and Smith counters with an inside leg kick.
Brown gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Smith connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Brown looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Smith tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Brown is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Smith has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Smith decides to stand back up. Smith steps back and let's Brown get back to his feet.
Brown takes a swing at Smith's ribcage but misses.

Brown throws a series of punches but Smith avoids them all with ease.
Smith ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Brown tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Smith defends well and Brown ends up having to push Smith into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Smith escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Brown shoots and misses

and Smith counters with a flying knee that drops Brown!

Brown is rocked!

Brown seems to have got his legs back now.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Brown manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Smith as Brown tries to tie him up.

Smith turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Smith manages to end up in side control.
Smith wants to control but Brown is keeping him busy.
The strikes coming from Smith are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Brown is trying to get back to his feet.
Brown keeps Smith under control for a moment.

Brown sneaks out the side door and pushes Smith away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Brown throws a hook but Smith avoids it easily.
Smith misses with a wild combination.

Logan Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Smith takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Brown swings for the body but Smith moves out of range.
Brown looks to score with a jab to the body but Smith is just out of range.
Brown tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Smith is able to avoid easily.
Smith tests Brown's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Smith drops Brown with a big left hand and mounts him. Brown is in big trouble!

Brown somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!
Brown misses with a two punch combination.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Smith slips a jab and a cross from Brown.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Smith enables Brown to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Smith manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Brown lands a couple of digs.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Smith dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Brown wants to stay close but Smith steps back to make room for something. Brown seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Smith and Brown drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
