Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Emmet Von Braun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladislav Vasilev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Emmet Von Braun has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Emmet Von Braun seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasilev throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Von Braun connects with a nice short shot to Vasilev's temple.

Von Braun is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Vasilev is just riding it out for now. Von Braun eventually gives up the hold.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Von Braun seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Vasilev for as long as he can get away with.
