Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Scott Squibbles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Scott Squibbles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eddie Bravo!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bravo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Squibbles looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Bravo looks up at the clock and then as Squibbles takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bravo smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Squibbles wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Bravo working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Squibbles tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Squibbles is trying to get back to his feet but Bravo has full control of the position and if anything, Squibbles has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Bravo has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Squibbles has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Squibbles is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Will Bravo go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Bravo is trying to keep Squibbles in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Squibbles is looking to work some ground and pound but Bravo has wrist control.
Squibbles throws an elbow that misses. Bravo uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Squibbles's guard. Nice move by Bravo!

Squibbles working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bravo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bravo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Squibbles is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bravo is aware though and is defending well.

Bravo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Squibbles has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bravo has managed to get both his arms back between Squibbles's legs - danger averted.

Squibbles is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Bravo won't allow Squibbles to sweep him here.
Bravo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Squibbles swivels though and keeps the full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bravo is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Bravo pulls guard effortlessly.
Bravo wants to sweep but no luck.

Bravo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Bravo might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Squibbles haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Bravo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Squibbles's guard.

Bravo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Squibbles works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Bravo wants to pass the guard but Squibbles is keeping the position.
Squibbles definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Bravo works over Squibbles with some ground and pound from guard.

Bravo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Bravo is looking to take a break and control but Squibbles is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bravo is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Still in half guard, Bravo seems content to control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eddie Bravo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Squibbles lands the left hand.
Squibbles connects with a right hand. Bravo shakes it off.
Bravo tests Squibbles's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Squibbles thows a body shot but no joy.
Bravo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Squibbles rushes Bravo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Bravo turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Bravo manages to end up in side control.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Bravo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Squibbles is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Squibbles is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bravo is controlling him well.

Bravo in side control, throwing shots but Squibbles defends.
Squibbles is not content to let Bravo control the position.
Squibbles wants to get back to his feet.

Eddie Bravo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Bravo winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
