Wyatt dives in and grabs Russell's left leg, looking for a takedown. Russell pushes down on Wyatt's head and hops out.
Russell has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Wyatt tries for a takedown but Russell sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Wyatt shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Russell as he avoids it easily.
Wyatt shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Russell but Russell pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Wyatt looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Russell cracks a nice hook into Wyatt's ribs.
Wyatt shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Russell as he jumps to the side.
Russell lands a head shot.
Wyatt tries to score a power double leg takedown but Russell sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wyatt somewhat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Russell connects with a body shot that sends Wyatt's belly button to the back.

Oooooh!!! Russell has knocked Wyatt down with a huge combo! Russell steps away and waves a wobbly Wyatt back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like John Wyatt has been cut.
Russell pounces like a tiger and cracks Wyatt with a vicious hook! Wyatt is down but not out! Russell follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
