The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benjamin shoots in and drives through. Wade sprawls well.
Benjamin gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Benjamin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Kane Wade is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Benjamin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wade as he avoids it easily.
Dre Benjamin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Benjamin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Wade tries to lock up and control but Benjamin gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Benjamin swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Wade is now in Benjamin's guard. A big mistake from Benjamin there, giving up the dominant position!
