Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Melvin Dungy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marvin Heemeyer!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dungy misses with a few strikes there.
Heemeyer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Heemeyer showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dungy.
Heemeyer has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Dungy finds it's way round the side to connect with Heemeyer's head.

Dungy lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Marvin Heemeyer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

With the fighters up against the cage, Heemeyer throws an elbow but misses.
Dungy lands with a left to the head.

Dungy goes for a takedown attempt but Heemeyer pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
A bone on bone clash there as Heemeyer blocks the leg kick.
Dungy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Heemeyer swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Dungy wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Heemeyer has him pressed against the cage.

Dungy is trying to trip Heemeyer. He has hold of a leg but Heemeyer is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Dungy persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Heemeyer avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Dungy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Dungy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Heemeyer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Heemeyer is in close to Dungy's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Heemeyer is looking to work some ground and pound but Dungy has wrist control.

Dungy has his foot on Heemeyer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Heemeyer works his way back into a safe position though.
Heemeyer is working Dungy over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Heemeyer chips away with some ground and pound.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Heemeyer stands up over Dungy, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Heemeyer is pushing down on Dungy's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dungy is fighting to maintain full guard but Heemeyer has managed to sneak the leg through.

Heemeyer wants to improve his position but instead Dungy has moved into half guard.
Heemeyer throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Dungy manages to pass to side control.
Dungy takes a little break here. Heemeyer wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Dungy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Heemeyer keeps working.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Heemeyer works his foot free and advances to mount.

A right-left combo lands from Dungy.
Dungy is looking to clinch but Heemeyer is avoiding it.
Heemeyer throws a head kick that Dungy semi-blocks.

Dungy pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Heemeyer sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Dungy to the ground! Heemeyer dives into full mount looking to finish!
Oh Dungy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Heemeyer loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Dungy scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Heemeyer land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Heemeyer stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marvin Heemeyer!
