Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elijah Cervantes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Titus Longschlong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Titus Longschlong will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Elijah Cervantes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Titus Longschlong!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Fedor Mirinova and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longschlong connects with a nice looking jab.
Longschlong fails to land the takedown.

Longschlong looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Longschlong advances to half guard.

Longschlong is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Cervantes has managed to free his arm - good work.
Cervantes manages to get to full guard.
Longschlong pushes down on Cervantes's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Longschlong trying to control from half guard but Cervantes is working away.

Longschlong seems to be looking for submissions.
Cervantes won't allow Longschlong to pass to mount.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Longschlong stops Cervantes from getting back to his feet.
Longschlong missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Longschlong wants to pass the guard but Cervantes is defending well.
Cervantes really is a fat lump.
Cervantes wants to get back to full guard.

Longschlong is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cervantes doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Longschlong.
Cervantes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Longschlong looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Longschlong tries to pass to full mount but Cervantes defends it.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Cervantes wants to control but Longschlong is keeping busy.
Longschlong passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Cervantes!
Longschlong throwing strikes here but Cervantes is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Longschlong is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Cervantes's half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Longschlong wants to control but Cervantes is keeping him busy.
Longschlong thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Cervantes is staying active underneath Longschlong, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Longschlong is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cervantes defends it well.
Longschlong works his way into side control.

Cervantes tries to buck Longschlong off but Longschlong is having none of it.

Longschlong tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Longschlong has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Longschlong is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cervantes is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Longschlong wants to control but Cervantes is keeping him busy.

Cervantes manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Cervantes not doing much here.
Longschlong is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Cervantes's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cervantes's back!
I really don't envy Cervantes right now.

Longschlong looking for the choke but no joy.

Longschlong has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Cervantes has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Longschlong misses with punches from the back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Titus Longschlong showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!


A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Longschlong.

Cervantes drives through with a takedown into guard.
Cervantes postures up in Longschlong's guard and throws a big left but Longschlong blocks it.
Longschlong tries to strike from the bottom.
Longschlong wants to sweep here but Cervantes controlling him for the moment.

Titus Longschlong has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Longschlong gets a takedown into half guard.
Longschlong is trying to control the action in half guard but Cervantes is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Longschlong wants to get back to his feet.

Longschlong tries to pass the half guard into mount. Cervantes knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Longschlong works his foot free and advances to mount.
Longschlong tries to stand up but Cervantes grabs his leg and drags him down! Cervantes is now on top, in side control.

Longschlong trying to control but Cervantes flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
Titus Longschlong is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Longschlong is really stuck here.

Longschlong trying to control but not successfully.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Longschlong really must keep his cool here. He's controlling one of Cervantes's hands and whilst he does that, he's got a chance of escaping the position.

Titus Longschlong comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Longschlong has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
