Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Joey Silvera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roger Kint!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kint lands a head shot.
Silvera throws a quick inside leg kick.
Silvera misses with a body shot

so Kint counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Roger Kint has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
No luck for Kint with that takedown attempt.
Silvera lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kint's sensitive parts.
Kint jabs Silvera to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Kint takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Silvera has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Kint wants to pass to mount but Silvera is defending the position.

Kint content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kint is pressing down on Silvera's thigh, looking to free his foot. Silvera is holding on for now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Kint has his takedown stuffed

and Silvera moves into the clinch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kint blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Kint presses Silvera against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Kint misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Silvera dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Silvera has a couple of punches blocked by Kint.

Silvera gets through Kint's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Joey Silvera will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Silvera tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Silvera throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kints head.
Silvera blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Silvera goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Kint blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Kint tries to pull guard but Silvera forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Kint misses with a hook from the clinch.
Silvera throws a punch but it's blocked by Kint.
Silvera misses with some punches.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Silvera.
Silvera pressing his opponent against the cage.

Silvera misses with a short punch on the inside.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Silvera is fighting off a takedown attempt but Kint is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Silvera to the mat. Silvera regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Kint stands and throws Silvera's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Silvera can't escape the position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Silvera is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Kint locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Silvera is forced to tap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Roger Kint!
Our winner, Roger Kint, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
