Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyree Nicholson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nicholson manages to avoid it.
Evans gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Nicholson counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Evans is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Evans looking for a guillotine here but Nicholson defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nicholson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Evans is trying to hold Nicholson in close to prevent damage but Nicholson has managed to pass into half guard.
Evans is looking for a sweep. Nicholson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Nicholson not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Evans is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Evans has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nicholson is working away from the top position though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Evans is trying to get back to full guard.
Evans is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Nicholson throws a head kick but Evans moves out of range.
Nicholson shoots in and drives through. Evans sprawls well.
Evans throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nicholson's waist but Nicholson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Evans off to one side.
Evans tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nicholson swivels and escapes.
Tyree Nicholson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyler Evans.

Evans shoots for a double leg takedown but Nicholson sprawls well. He's pushed Evans's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Evans feints and as Nicholson raises his hands in defense, Evans changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Evans stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nicholson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Evans passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Evans is working to tighten his grip on Nicholson's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Nicholson has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Evans is really squeezing tight and eventually Nicholson passes out! Evans breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
