The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gonzales is looking for a sweep. Rocha is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Rocha seems to be looking for submissions.
Rocha looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Gonzales is looking to control Rocha's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Gonzales avoid being mounted?

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ronaldo Rocha hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Gonzales feints and as Rocha raises his hands in defense, Gonzales changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gonzales will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gonzales paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
