Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jules Norris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Poullart!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poullart tries to clinch up.
Mike Poullart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Norris feints and as Poullart raises his hands in defense, Norris changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Poullart steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Norris.

Norris fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Poullart sprawls well initially but Norris persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Norris decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Poullart fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Norris is out of range.
Norris could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Poullart closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Norris is pressing down on Poullart's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Norris manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Norris uses his free foot to push down on Poullart's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Poullart.
