The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt moves in looking to clinch but Ribeiro pushes him off.

Hunt is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Ribeiro still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Ribeiro has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

and Ribeiro decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hunt's guard.
Ribeiro stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hunt swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've been informed that Ribeiro has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
