Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Skunky Monkey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Timmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Larry Timmons has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monkey misses with an uppercut
and Timmons connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Timmons looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Monkey bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A telegraphed right hand from Timmons misses the target.
Monkey connects with a good right hand that stumbles Timmons. Timmons circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Monkey moves out of range of the strikes.
Timmons waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Monkey.
Timmons misses with a jab to the body
and Monkey counters with a nice uppercut.
Timmons misses with a hook. Monkey ducked under it nicely.
Monkey throws a jab but it's blocked by Timmons.
Timmons throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Timmons stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Monkey moves into range and connects with a jab.
Timmons lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Timmons throws out a powerful jab.
Timmons throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Timmons on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
A jab lands there for Monkey.
Monkey fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Timmons has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Timmons tries to bum rush Monkey with a series of wild strikes but Monkey uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Timmons jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Timmons takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Timmons misses with a two punch combination.
Monkey has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Clean and Green in the buildup to the fight.
Timmons misses with a hook to the body
and Monkey counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Monkey misses with a wild combination.
Monkey is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Timmons.
Monkey thows a body shot but no joy.
Timmons tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Monkey was well out of range. Poor timing from Timmons.

Monkey cracks a nice hook into Timmons's ribs.
Monkey is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Timmons throws a jab but it's blocked by Monkey.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Timmons swings for the body but Monkey moves out of range.
Monkey misses the shot to the body.
Timmons just misses with a punch to the body.
Jab, jab by Monkey - just one landing.
Monkey is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Timmons uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Monkey.
Monkey lands the left hand.

Monkey really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A combination from Timmons does no damage.
A punch lands to the side of Monkey 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Timmons looks to land a combination but Monkey avoids it well.
Monkey moves away from the strike by Timmons.

Monkey lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

No joy there for Timmons, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Monkey throws a shot to the body.
Timmons takes a swing at Monkey's ribcage but misses.
Monkey connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Timmons momentarily.
Monkey fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Monkey, as that shot connected.

Timmons is rocked!
Timmons throws a big shot that misses.
A nice inside leg kick there by Monkey. That's going to slow Timmons down.
Monkey looks to throw the jab but Timmons is out of range.
Monkey pounces like a tiger and cracks Timmons with a vicious hook! Timmons is down but not out! Monkey follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

After winning the bout, Skunky Monkey thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
