The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Mcgregor, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mcgregor looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Travis shoots in looking for a takedown. Mcgregor tries to sprawl out of it but Travis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mcgregor manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Mcgregor has Travis up against the cage in a clinch.
Travis tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Travis is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Mcgregor is defending well.
Mcgregor lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

It looks like Byron Travis has been cut.

Travis is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Mcgregor is keeping busy.

Mcgregor dips a shoulder and cracks Travis with a mighty uppercut! Travis falls back against the cage and Mcgregor unloads with a barrage of strikes! Travis is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Mcgregor screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
