Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Austin Peace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Clark is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peace stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Peace throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Clark closes the distance and clinches up with Peace, looking for a takedown. Clark pushes Peace against the cage but Peace circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Clark should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Clark takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Peace throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Clark decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Peace is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Clark scores with a couple of nice shots.

Clark is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Peace really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Clark is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Clark working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. John Clark wasn't active enough on the ground.
Clark shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Peace defends it nicely.

Clark turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Clark manages to end up in side control.

Clark throws a strike aimed at the side of Peace's head but Peace avoids it well.
Peace is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Clark asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Clark has an Americana. Peace didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Clark is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Clark hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
