Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chaz Swanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Peltier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swanson comes to the cage accompanied by Till I Collapse. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chaz Swanson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roman Peltier!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Peltier looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Peltier wants to control from the top but Swanson keeps moving.

Swanson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Swanson tries to get out of the position.
Swanson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Peltier is one step ahead there.

Peltier wants to control from the top but Swanson keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Roman Peltier.

Peltier fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Swanson sprawls well initially but Peltier persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Swanson wants to hit a switch here but Peltier passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Swanson there!

Swanson is desperately trying to improve his position but Peltier has a good base and remains in mount.
Swanson sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Swanson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Swanson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Swanson wants to sweep here but Peltier controlling him for the moment.

That was a close round but I would say that Chaz Swanson will probably get the nod.

Peltier feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Swanson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Peltier has picked Swanson up and slammed him! Swanson can't keep hold of the triangle and Peltier manages to pass to side control!

Chaz Swanson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Peltier loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Swanson looking for a sweep. Not yet Swanson, not yet.

Swanson has his hands on Peltier's head, controlling the position.
Peltier wants to pass the guard but Swanson is keeping the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Roman Peltier.

Peltier fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Swanson to the ground. Peltier is now in Swanson's guard.
Peltier slips nicely into half guard.

Peltier prevents Swanson from improving his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Peltier is keen to just control but Swanson is a slippery customer.
Peltier wants to pass the guard but Swanson is defending well.

Peltier fails to land a wild elbow strike.

We've been informed that Peltier has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Swanson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Peltier content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roman Peltier showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Swanson tries to improve position but can't.
Swanson misses with an elbow from the bottom.
Peltier is looking to take a break and control but Swanson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Swanson is trying to strike from the bottom but Peltier has passed into full mount.
Swanson is squirming around, avoiding Peltier's attempts to control the action.

Swanson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Peltier thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Peltier swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Swanson is now in Peltier's guard. A big mistake from Peltier there, giving up the dominant position!
Swanson won't allow Peltier to get back to his feet.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Roman Peltier wasn't active enough on the ground.
Peltier slaps away a takedown attempt from Swanson, before circling back to the center of the mat.

And that's the end of the fight!
Roman Peltier comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Peltier has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
