The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Mauricio Rocha and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramos stuns Morris with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Morris lands a head kick. Ramos smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Vinicius Ramos has been cut.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Morris.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ramos tests Morris's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Morris throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ramos stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Morris counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ramos's knee momentarily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Morris thows a huge punch but Ramos dodges it nicely.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ramos throws a big right hand that misses.
Morris controls Ramos momentarily but Ramos frees himself.
Morris looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Ramos puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Ramos decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Morris counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vinicius Ramos. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Morris counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Morris throws a strike but Ramos rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Ramos has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Ramos is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Morris is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Morris has escaped and now he's on top!

Morris throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ramos tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Morris is in Ramos's guard.

Ramos is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Morris has his hands clasped together but Ramos extends and breaks Morris's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Ramos.
