Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Manu Krishna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aoki Masaru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masaru fails with the takedown
and Krishna counters with a shoot takedown. Masaru fights it but they end up in guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Krishna postures up and lands a big shot to Masaru's brow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Krishna is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Masaru drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Krishna manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Masaru has Krishna in his guard.
