Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bam Bam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kriss Kross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bam Bam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kriss Kross!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kross misses with a series of wild punches.
Bam shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kross scores with a nice right hand.
Kross rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bam moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bam avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kross takes a swing at Bam's ribcage but misses.

Bam looking to score a takedown here. Kross is defending well but Bam drives through and ends up in Kross's guard.
We've been hearing that Bam has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Bam throws a strike but Kross rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Kross loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Kross keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bam's head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kross throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bam works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Kross stands up from Bam's guard - Kross perhaps looking for a knockout.
Kross fails with the takedown.
Bam gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Bam throws a head kick but Kross moves out of range.
Kross swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

so Bam counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kross is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Bam wants to control from the top but Kross keeps moving.

Kross manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bam gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Kross.
Kross has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bam after a bit of a struggle.
Bam Bam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kriss Kross.

Bam breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bam changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kross tries to avoid it but Bam manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kross to the ground. Kross escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Bam makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Kross really felt that one!
Bam darts in looking for a takedown but Kross gets double underhooks and turns Bam into the cage.

Bam breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

It looks like Bam Bam has been cut.
Kross throws a right and a left that both miss.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kross.
Bam ducks under a wild hook from Kross.

Kross stuffs the takedown attempt from Bam. Bam gets slowly back to his feet.

Bam darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kross has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Bam is on him like a limpet, forcing Kross back against the cage.
Kross goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bam prevents it.
Kross is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Kross has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bam avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Bam pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bam closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kross's guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Kriss Kross will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Bam Bam's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Bam shoots for a double leg takedown but Kross sprawls well. He's pushed Bam's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nice straight punches there by Kross. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kross.
Kross will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kross misses with a looping right.
Kross swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bam.
Kross lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kross defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bam.
No luck for Bam with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bam Bam. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kross rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bam moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Good exchange - Kross coming out on top.
Bam takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Kross throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Bam Bam is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kross cracks Bam with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kross might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Bam drops his hands momentarily and Kross takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Kross has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Kross looks to land a combination. Bam sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

We've been informed that Kross has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kross bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bam's head backwards.

The crowd cheers as Kross lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bam doesn't seem phased though.

Kross throws a series of punches but Bam moves out of range.
Bam has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Kriss Kross seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kross lands a jab to the nose.
Bam tries for a takedown but Kross sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kross misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kross scores with a one two! Bam had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Bam feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Kross has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Bam is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kross sees it coming and defends easily.
Bam is pressing down on Kross's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kross is holding on for now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kross is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bam's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bam's back!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Bam looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

We're going to have a standup here because Bam Bam wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Kross throws a series of punches but Bam moves out of range.
Bam gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
No joy there for Kross, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kross ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Kross shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bam eats them both and turns towards Kross to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Kross stalks Bam and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bam's face. Bam staggers backwards, shaken.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bam is defended easily by Kross.
Kross lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kross.
Bam tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kross was well out of range. Poor timing from Bam.
Kross bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bam's head.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kross stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Bam shoots for a takedown but Kross saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Bam looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Bam tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kross defends well and Bam ends up having to push Kross into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Kross has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bam clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Bam is trying to get back to his feet but Kross has full control of the position and if anything, Bam has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Kross is looking to control Bam but Bam is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Kross scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Bam is looking for a way out.
Bam knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kross on the ground.

Bam is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Kross.
