Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Manu Krishna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Durham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manu Krishna has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Manu Krishna!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyson Durham!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durham darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Durham, as that shot connected.
A left and a right from Durham both land. Nice combination.
Krishna tries to clinch up.
Krishna takes one on the chin but keeps coming.


Krishna is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Durham throws a jab but it's blocked by Krishna.
Durham misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Durham lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Krishna at a distance.

Krishna closes the distance and pushes Durham back into the cage.
Durham is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Krishna has Durham pressed against the cage, preventing Durham from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Durham has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Durham is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Durham blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Krishna gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Durham is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Durham tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Durham not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Krishna is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Durham's half guard.
Durham wants to control but Krishna is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Still in half guard, Krishna seems content to control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Durham wants to get back to full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Krishna ducks right into an uppercut from Durham.
Tyson Durham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Durham rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Krishna moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Krishna clinches up with Durham and pushes him back against the cage.
Krishna has Durham pressed against the cage, preventing Durham from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Durham has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Krishna keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Durham's efforts to push away.

Krishna pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Durham lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Durham missing with a left hand there. Krishna was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Krishna uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Durham.
Durham misses with a hook. Krishna ducked under it nicely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Krishna doesn't manage to clinch there - Durham circles away.
Durham might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Krishna closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Durham sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Durham tries to get to full guard but Krishna has control of the leg.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Krishna is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Durham!
Krishna tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyson Durham dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Durham avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Oooooh!!! Durham has knocked Krishna down with a huge combo! Durham steps away and waves a wobbly Krishna back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Oh Krishna is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
and Durham counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Krishna! He's just covering up as Durham starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyson Durham!
Tyson Durham spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
