The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Parks. No joy for Andrews on that attempt.
Parks dives in and grabs Andrews's left leg, looking for a takedown. Andrews pushes down on Parks's head and hops out.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Horrible takedown by Andrews or perhaps it was just good defense by Parks which made him look bad.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Parks looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Andrews is fending him off so far but Parks persists. Nope, Andrews circles away and we're back to standing.
Andrews dives in for a single leg takedown but Parks sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Parks using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Andrews has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Andrews tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Parks smiles and moves away.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Chris Parks showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Parks tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Andrews paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Parks clinches up with Andrews and pushes him back against the cage.
Come on Andrews - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Parks looking for a sweep. Not yet Parks, not yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Parks avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Andrews throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Parks working for a triangle but Andrews defends it easily.
Parks being controlled here, momentarily.
Andrews passes Parks's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Andrews is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Parks works his way to full guard. Good work.

Parks is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Andrews defends well.

Andrews drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Parks manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Andrews has Parks in his guard.
Andrews might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Andrews pushes Parks off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Ron Andrews has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Chris Parks is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Andrews lands a good knee to the midsection. Parks won't want to take too many of those.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ron Andrews.
I think Parks has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
