Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Yates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Diego (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yates throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Diego counters with a left to the body.
Yates misses with a body kick.
Yates is trying hard to land a takedown here. Diego sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Diego moves in looking to clinch but Yates pushes him off.

so Diego counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jason Diego hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
