Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dean Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wai Man Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin comes to the cage accompanied by Dean Martin - LITTLE OLD WINE DRINKER ME . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Wai Man Li!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksandr Martynov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin stuffs the takedown.
Li lands a two punch combo.
Li lands with a good body shot.

Li fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Martin to the ground. Li is now in Martin's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Li postures up.

Martin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Li trying to control but Martin is working from the bottom.
Li with a flurry of punches that miss.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Li is working Martin over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Li accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Wai Man Li.
Li moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Li looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Martin!
Li lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Martin down.
Li tries to move into full mount but can't pass Martin's legs.

Li tries to move to mount but Martin blocks the move with his legs.
Martin tries to bench press Li off him but Li keeps the position.

Li working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Li lands a nice forearm strike.
Martin managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Li.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Martin tries to improve position but can't.
Li lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Martin down.
Li is putting a hurting on Martin here, landing some big shots from side control.
Li advances nicely into full mount.
Li has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Li prevents Martin from getting the reversal.
BOOM! Li connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Oh Martin is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Li moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Martin has worked his arm free - good work by Martin!
Li just content to control the position.
Li lands a strong strike to the head of Martin. That's dazed him! Li looking to finish here. Martin is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Li lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wai Man Li!
Wai Man Li decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
